The sun sets on a crimson sky
As waves crash high and near.
We walk along the moonlit beach
As stars begin to peer.
The sand beneath our feet is fine
And squeaky as we walk.
The wind blows cool and silky smooth
as we begin to talk.
We ponder many mysteries
of nature and the stars.
Or speak of things that we have seen
Or places that are far.
The night is young, the world is calm
No need to now make haste.
For there will be another day
And perhaps another
